HOW WE BUY/CONSIGN
All of our merchandise comes from our own customers who resell items their children have outgrown. We buy only MINT CONDITION merchandise. What does mint condition mean? Clothing must be no more than three years old, freshly laundered, stain-free and tear-free, with all buttons in place and zippers working. When brought to us, please fold clothing and stack by size if possible. Toys must be clean, in good working order, complete with all pieces. We do not buy computer games. Furniture, strollers, car seats and other baby equipment must be clean, fully functional with all pieces and hardware, and accompanied by instruction manuals if possible. We check everything in this category for recalls. By law, we cannot sell car seats that are more than 5 years old.

Appointments are scheduled only during regular business hours. Be prepared to describe what you have to sell and to tell us days of the week and/or times of day that are best to schedule your appointment. We buy based on our inventory needs. Our store is small so we have space limitations. We may be unable to schedule an appointment or look at all of your items if our inventory is full in your category/size. At the end of your appointment, unwanted items are returned to you. We cannot dispose of them for you.
WE BUY SEASONALLY
The 2008 spring/summer season begins February 16, 2008.
The 2008 fall/winter season begins August 15, 2008.
These are the dates on which we start taking appointments for each season.
PAYMENT AND CONSIGNMENT POLICY
We pay cash for most items. When we pay cash, you receive 40% of OUR selling price. Items that are usually accepted on consignment include maternity clothes, furniture and larger equipment. The consignment period is 90 days. On consigned items selling at under $200, you receive 50% of the sale. On consigned items selling at over $200, you receive 60% of the sale.
Consignment checks are mailed monthly.
